I love the work on your keepsake boxes. I started
one for my daughter years ago and couldn't finish
it because i couldn't get the flowers going the way i wanted for my liking.I haven't tole painted for some time now but my friend is getting me back into it. Seeing your work makes me want to give them another go. So wish me the best of luck because i am not very good.

Good job. And I think mine is not bad.I can reproduce any picture or painting into highly collectable 100% hand embroidered painting, done with silk threads not oil paints.

I am a self taught One Stroke struggling painter. I love trying new strokes and new designs but I will admit my practicing does not make my art work presentable all the time. I really like your seascapes and your clouds. I enjoy doing clouds and I feel they are one of the most critical aspects of any seascape or landscape. Trees are another challenge to me and I like the way your trees blend into the background. I like the warm tones in this painting and it has a calming effect. Thank you. |

Don't throw away old brushes,
they are invaluable as "scruffy" brushes.
Just
experiment with them to see
what effects are possible.
Old
flat brushes are
excellent for the fur on teddies,
old round brushes
can give some interesting dry
brush effects.
